Tonight’s supper=crockpot chicken tacos. These taco’s are easy to make, quick, and delicious! Fire up the cockpot and get ready to enjoy some delicious tacos.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 jar of salsa
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/2 cube of chicken bouillon
  • Hard or soft taco shells
  • Taco toppings (shredded cheddar, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, etc…)

Optional ingredients*

  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 1 clove garlic (diced)
  • 1 green pepper (chopped)

Directions: Season chicken if desired, mix salsa and taco seasoning together (might not need entire jar of salsa depending on how much chicken you have). Rub chicken in salsa/taco seasoning mixture so it’s covered. Place chicken in crockpot, pour any remaining salsa mixture over chicken if desired. Add a little water to the crockpot to prevent the chicken from drying up, sprinkle in bouillon cube for flavor. Cook on low for 4-6 hours until chicken is tender and can be pulled apart. After chicken is done just pull apart with 2 forks and serve on hard or soft shells with your favorite toppings!

*If using optional ingredients just layer on bottom of crockpot and above chicken, these ingredients add a great flavor to the dish
